Star Wars – Facebook Edition

Dorkly.com has re-enacted the 1st Star Wars movie as a facebook conversation, comprised of 63 comments. Long, but definitely shorter than watching the entire movie.

SuperBowl XLIII Commercials

Although I stayed up for the first 45min of the game last night, I saw no commercials.. 🙁
Luckily, there’s the internet.

Lior Zoref wrote about his favorites, Bilal did the same, Jon Borg talked about Hulu’s revolutionMitch Cohen went all the way and provided the link to all of them, over at adweek.com. Thanks Mitch!

Here’s my (and Lior’s) favorite, Hulu with Alec Baldwin:

The 4 p.m break

You nay know the feeling, especially if you’re working until late in the evening…
4 p.m is always a barrier, between the active lunch and the less active afternoon… when people are starting to leave and you have some time to read emails/browse the web/reed feeds/watch videos (circle your choice). I read that YouTube have some 100m videos watched each day. 100m, each day. That’s a lot. and that the average user is staying for 16-17 min on the site, meaning he’s watching several videos, not just one.

In one of those random visits I had to YouTube I came across this funny Heroes parody, from MADtv. Apparently Madtv (like SNL) produce parodies as part of the show, and you can find other videos in the related section at YouTube. So, for my 4 p.m break, and yours, I give you Heroes parody. ENJOY!

Here’s the link..

Troubled guy.. but funny conversation

It’s a different world out there, with web2.0, wi-fi everywhere, BT, 3G phones, webcam – the opportunities for making an ass out of your self, or someone else, are much bigger these days..

Take a look at this guy. He didn’t like paying $303 per month for his car insurance, so he decided to call up the agency, and find out some ‘statistically significant’ facts.. Funny guy.. yet very troubling..

Remember – anyone can listen..

The Simpsons are Idols

Don’t know how many of you saw last week’s episode of American Idol, ‘Idols Gives Back’ 2 hour episode. Other than numerous guest performers, past and present, there was a 1-minute sketch of The Simpsons, auditioning Simon’s yellow character.
Only to demonstrate that even after 10 seasons, with a movie on the way, The Simpsons are the true American Idols!

In case you missed it, watch it here:
