I have to admit that my knowledge of the local (Israeli) blogging scene is under par, and I’ve been taking measures to amend it. Luckily, I have the right friends, and came across ‘The First International Jewish Bloggers Conference in Jerusalem‘, Wednesday, August 20th, hosted by Nefesh B’Nefesh (‘soul in soul’) organization. There are some great lectures, obviously, but hey, it’s THE place to be Wed. @ 17:00, if you’re a blogger and a jew (sounds like the begining of a joke, but it’s not… ;-).
What’s on the agenda?
‘Meat’ & Greet: Mingle and network with fellow bloggers over a Deli buffet
Panel Discussion: Taking Jblogging to the next level: Increasing your readership, reach and influence
Comedy performance by FrumSatire: The Rantings of a Frum Yid with a Warped Perspective
Branding Israel – From Vision to Reality: Zavi Apfelbaum, Director of Brand Management, Foreign Ministry
Building Israel One Post at a Time – Open Discussion with Blogger Panelists
Dessert
Thanks to israluv and Miriam Schwab for keeping me in the loop.
